Jing Jing Yang is an accomplished professional with a distinguished career in career development, financial management, and mentoring. With a career spanning several decades, Jing Jing has significantly contributed to Stanford University’s Career Education and Development Centers. As a Budget & Payroll Manager from 2014 to 2021, she managed a substantial $5 million budget, oversaw a team of 30-35 student assistants, and played a pivotal role in student job placements and professional development. Her expertise in handling complex financial transactions and administrative responsibilities made her a key figure in ensuring the smooth operation of the department.
Prior to her role as a Budget & Payroll Manager, Jing Jing served as a Department Administrator at Stanford Career Development Center for over two decades. In this capacity, she was responsible for managing 25-30 student assistants, overseeing budget expenditures, and providing guidance on administrative and financial matters. Her role as a Pre-major Academic Advisor involved advising freshmen and sophomores, further showcasing her commitment to fostering student growth and development.
Jing Jing's career began with roles at the Stanford Career Planning & Placement Center and the California CPAs Society, where she gained valuable experience in administrative support and course coordination. Her educational background, with an M.A. in Linguistics from San Jose State University and a B.A. in German with a minor in English from Fu-Jen Catholic University, complements her professional expertise.
